Our Wellbeing Award for Schools Achievement We are delighted to announce that The Village School has been awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS), recognising our ongoing commitment to promoting and supporting the wellbeing of our students, staff, and families. What is the Wellbeing Award for Schools? The Wellbeing Award for Schools is a nationally recognised accreditation that acknowledges schools which demonstrate an outstanding commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. The award evaluates how effectively a school supports the emotional wellbeing of students, staff, and the wider school community through its culture, policies, practices, and provision. Schools undertaking the award process are assessed against a set of rigorous standards, which focus on areas such as leadership, teaching and learning, staff wellbeing, student voice, support systems, and engagement with parents and carers. Achieving the award demonstrates that wellbeing is embedded throughout the school and is a key priority in school development.
